Our Mission and Commitment to Care

Unlimited Behavior Solutions (UBS) is committed to providing values-based, person-centered behavioral services that support teens and adults in building meaningful, self-directed lives.

Our approach integrates evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis with a deep respect for individual values, preferences, and life goals, ensuring that treatment extends beyond behavior reduction to promote autonomy, dignity, and quality of life.

We focus on meaningful outcomes such as increased independence, adaptive functioning, emotional regulation, social connection, and community participation, with services designed to be relevant, sustainable, and applicable to real-world settings.

Our Commitment to Care

People come before profit, and that isn't a slogan, it's how every clinical decision gets made. At Unlimited Behavior Solutions, our priority is, and always will be, the individuals and families we serve. We believe that meaningful, ethical, and person-centered care must guide every decision we make, not profitability or volume of services.

Our approach is grounded in doing what is clinically appropriate, not what is financially driven. This means recommending only the services that are truly needed, designing individualized programs that reflect each person’s goals and values, and ensuring that intervention leads to meaningful, real-world outcomes rather than unnecessary or excessive treatment.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and clinical excellence. Our focus is on building skills that matter, supporting independence, improving quality of life, and creating lasting change across home, school, and community environments.

At UBS, success is not measured by the number of hours delivered, but by the progress, dignity, and long-term outcomes of the individuals we support.

Path to Independence

Independence looks different for every person we serve, and that's the point. Our work is guided by a clear and meaningful goal: supporting each individual in building a life that reflects independence, dignity, and personal fulfillment. We view independence not as a fixed endpoint, but as a dynamic, individualized pathway shaped by each person's strengths, values, and goals.

Our approach begins with understanding what matters most to the individual and their family. From there, we design a personalized plan that focuses on building functional, real-world skills that can be used across environments. These may include communication, social relationships, emotional regulation, decision-making, safety awareness, and adaptive daily living skills.

Through individualized teaching, shaping, and consistent practice in natural settings, we support the development of skills that lead to greater autonomy. We emphasize internal motivation, helping individuals understand the purpose behind what they are learning so they can apply these skills beyond structured sessions.

As skills strengthen, our focus shifts toward generalization and independence. Supports are gradually faded, confidence is built, and individuals are guided to take increasing ownership of their choices and actions. We continuously adapt our approach to ensure that progress is meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with real-life demands.

At UBS, the path to independence is not about checking off milestones; it is about empowering individuals to navigate their world with confidence, competence, and a sense of control over their own lives.

Our Person-Centered Philosophy

Effective intervention begins with truly understanding the individual. Our person-centered philosophy places the individual, not the program, at the core of every decision we make.

We take the time to identify what is important to the individual (their preferences, interests, values, and goals) as well as what is important for them (health, safety, skill development, and long-term independence). These elements guide the development of meaningful, individualized programming that is both clinically sound and personally relevant.

Our approach moves beyond standardized, one-size-fits-all models. We do not rely on rigid curriculum sequences or “check-the-box” programming. Instead, we design flexible, responsive interventions that reflect the individual’s current abilities, life stage, and real-world needs. This is especially critical for adolescents and adults, where the focus shifts toward functional independence, relationships, and quality of life rather than filling developmental gaps that may not be meaningful.

We emphasize collaboration with the individual, family, and support team to ensure that goals are aligned with personal values and cultural considerations. Intervention is implemented with dignity, respect, and a commitment to preserving autonomy while building the skills needed for greater independence.

Through this approach, we focus on teaching skills that matter, communication, social connection, decision-making, adaptive living, and self-advocacy, ensuring that progress is not only measurable, but meaningful and sustainable across environments.

At UBS, person-centered care is not a component of our services, it is the foundation of everything we do.
