Skill Development Services
- Behavioral Intervention
Our behavioral intervention services focus on teaching functional replacement skills that improve quality of life. Using Teaching Interaction, shaping, and naturalistic strategies, we build communication, coping, and adaptive behaviors. Intervention is dynamic and responsive, with real-time adjustments to ensure engagement and meaningful progress.
- Social Competence and Groups
We offer highly structured, evidence-based social skills groups using a Teaching Interaction format and the Crafting Connections curriculum developed by Autism Partnership, a globally recognized leader in applied behavior analysis.
This model goes beyond traditional social skills instruction by actively teaching, modeling, rehearsing, and reinforcing meaningful social behaviors in a supportive and engaging environment. Individuals are not just told what to do, they are guided through how to do it, why it matters, and how to apply these skills across real-life situations.
Our groups target essential competencies such as conversation skills, perspective-taking, emotional awareness, boundaries, and relationship development. Instruction is individualized and dynamic, with built-in opportunities for immediate feedback, practice, and success.
To ensure true skill acquisition, we incorporate real-world practice experiences that promote generalization and confidence across settings. The result is not just improved social performance in sessions, but meaningful, lasting changes in how individuals connect, communicate, and build relationships in their everyday lives.
- Independent Living, Adaptive Skills, and Executive Functioning
We teach the skills necessary for greater independence across daily life. This includes adaptive living skills such as hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, money management, and home routines, as well as executive functioning skills like organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving.
Instruction is individualized and focused on real-life application, supporting adolescents and adults in building confidence, responsibility, and independence across home and community environments.
